Project management and change management are closely related, with the human factor undoubtedly being the decisive one in view of their implementations. Apart from tackling the challenges of technical communication, managers and project leaders need to be equipped with another skill set. However, managerial skills often take a back seat during the training and the careers of technical writers. The objective of this article is to introduce general management requirements to technical communication experts.
