TopicPilot is a platform for publishing product information based on media-specific requirements, e.g., using it as online Help and synchronizing it to a mobile device. The most important component of the application is an efficient search algorithm.
The drivers around the fourth industrial revolution ("Industry 4.0") and the dissatisfaction of customers with the current online Help systems provided the impetus for developing TopicPilot. The advent of Industry 4.0 comes with increasingly individualized products and has direct consequences for technical documentation. Handling the flood of user and operating manuals translates to significant additional costs when relying on classical technical documentation methods.
The idea
TopicPilot offers a publication server that selects the correct topic(s) from all the available topics based on appropriately chosen classifications to generate individualized manuals.
