Reinhard Rapp is Professor of Applied Translation Studies at Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences in Germany and currently on leave for conducting the Horizon 2020 research project SEBAMAT (semanticsbased machine translation) at the Athena Research Center in Athens. His main research interests are in computational linguistics and cognitive science, with a focus on machine translation.
