Jody Byrne
Jody Byrne, PhD, began his career in technical translation before moving into technical communication, working across academia and industry for more than twenty years. A former lecturer in translation and localization, he is the author of Technical Translation: Usability Strategies for Translating Technical Documentation and Scientific and Technical Translation Explained. He now works in SAP User Assistance, where he leads UA Futures Research, a strategic initiative exploring how emerging technologies are likely to shape the future of technical communication and how the user assistance community can prepare for what comes next.
