Companies subject their employees to strict rules to safeguard from all kinds of uncertainties. However, the rules appear to be inapplicable as soon as a confidential text leaves the organization, for translation for instance. Lack of awareness is just one of the reasons.

Companies face new challenges through globalization and digitalization when it comes to protecting their own value creation chain from external risks and threats. Processes have been established for this to manage business documents, which are monitored strictly. Inconsistency reins in many cases during translation however. Shouldn’t the matter of compliance apply to the translation process as well?
