The Globalization and Localization Association (GALA) is deep into preparations for the third annual GALA Language of Business conference, GALA 2011. Always staged at a new and different venue, this year’s GALA 2011 will be on the Portugal coast just outside of Lisbon. It will be held on March 28 - 30.
GALA 2011 will bring together the community of professionals involved in global content delivery. This community consists of all parties charged with transforming content (software code, website content, product information, technical documentation, marketing materials, and more) into translated and localized content for an international target audience. Attendees will include localization and internationalization project managers, language technology providers, and professionals from multiple and single language service companies.
The program will consist of planned and spontaneous learning sessions and will provide attendees with the opportunity to collectively share, discuss and debate the latest innovations and advancements in localization, internationalization, translation and global content delivery.
