This article provides information on the current developments in help authoring systems taking into account increased user requirements and technical demands. Requirements and solutions are explained with the example of the authoring system Adobe RoboHelp 11, a component of the Adobe Technical Communication ­Suite 5, where RoboHelp is a representative of the range of modern authoring systems such as Flare, Author-it or Help & Manual.
