GALA plays a major role in tcworld programming

The Globalization and Localization Association (GALA) and tekom have a long, mutually beneficial partnership. That solid relationship will be evident again this November at the tcworld conference where, for the fifth year, GALA has created a dynamic localization track of presentations. The partnership also includes marketing promotions and a GALA member discount to the tcworld conference.

The Localization Forum, which is developed by a team of GALA members who are localization experts, is designed to give attendees the most up-to-date information on global content delivery, language services and localization tools and technology. As the world’s largest trade association for language service providers, GALA has a firm grasp on current issues and trends within the industry, such as the growth of machine translation and post-editing, the need to optimize content management processes for the benefit of localization and the advancement of next-generation authoring tools.
