We are seeing new industries emerging and old industries being transformed by rapid innovation. One example of the growth of an industry directly resulting from megatrends of internet connectivity and globalization is the “localization industry.”

The past decade has seen the vibrant growth of this industry which is helping organizations tap global markets by facilitating development of multilingual content, products and services. More specifically, the growth in global online markets has resulted in companies seeking localization services for developing localized international websites to tap online markets. For example, today multinationals are seeing their global online revenues even exceeding their local revenues.
