The retirement of baby boomers will lead to an increasing skills shortage, and this problem is growing year by year. It is not about the number of people, but rather about the brain drain. Due to a shortage of time and the sheer volume, training is no option.

In addition to this, software is becoming ever more important for all kinds of machinery and products, leading to fast deployment times. But how do we get the information to use these machineries and products across to customers?

AI is showing us possibilities to provide information in ways we never thought of. It has become evident that the more we structure content, the better the AI results. It is necessary to provide targeted, contextual, and correct information to enable the future workforce doing their job and coaching the customer in handling the product.

This generates a major shift from technical information to targeted multimodal and multimedia supported information, which in former times had been regarded as a mere commodity.

The combination of AI and iiRDS will enable that.
