Content marketing spending to be increased in 2017

Marketers in the UK that are extremely or very committed to content marketing, value creativity and craft in content creation higher than other marketers, a report by the Content Marketing Institute has revealed.

Such marketers also understand what an effective or successful content marketing program looks like within their organization. As organizations come to realize the value of their technical documentation as a business asset, content marketing provides an outlet for this content to be leveraged to promote a company or brand. Key highlights of the report include:
  • 60 percent of UK marketers are much more or somewhat more successful with content marketing than they were one year ago
  • 53 percent plan to increase their content marketing spending over the next twelve months
  • 82 percent will focus on lead generation as a content marketing goal over the next twelve months
  • 65 percent can demonstrate, with metrics, how content marketing has increased their number of leads
