Exploring the situation of technical communication in China is an important activity and goal of our work as an international association. As <link http: www.technical-communication.org>tekom Europe and tcworld we organize and host various events and conferences focusing on technical communication with an ambitious program, including selected speakers, targeted towards technical writers and documentation departments in general. To improve our services and to develop conference and training programs tailored to the specific needs of companies in China, we are eager to find out how technical writers see the situation of technical communication in this country. Of particular interest are the challenges technical writers are facing today and in the near future in China, and which qualifications they feel they are lacking in terms of training or further education.      From the results, we expect to find inspiration, discussion topics, and practices to share with you at the first tcworld China event in Shanghai in 2015 (Details to be announced). This will help us to create a state-of-the-art conference program better covering the specific situation and needs of companies in China. By participating in our survey, your efforts will also be rewarded with the chance to win a complimentary entrance ticket to the tcworld China 2015 event. Our lottery is open until December 31, 2014, though it is still possible to take part in our survey even after this date. Please follow the links to our survey (English and Chinese version):
